Boy that was an exciting announcement. I was on the edge of my seat along with TJ.
Can I make some commentary on the film here?
1) Did you have a tripod setup? I thought Lauren was filming but then her hand reached down and the camera didn't waiver. I felt like you were lip synching after all.
2) I heard a film production company refer to someone talking in the background (when the viewer doesn't see the person's face) as the "voice of God." I guess this is sort of like the vision the Brother of Jared had since you get to see her hand, but that talking in the background, well, had that surrealism about it.
The video was made using the advanced motion picture technology of our MacBook's built-in camera. I was standing behind the monitor and reached in from above.
Now I'm thinking that I should enter this thing into Cannes and Sundance next year.
I didn't realize it was over already!! But I'm certainly impressed that I almost won. Years of schooling has left me with an excellent ability to make informed guesses? That will definitely help my career.
