fave song friday: "stereo"

Earlier this month Pavement released a best-of collection. They are also back together and on tour for the first time in more than 10 years. Am I excited about this? CERTAINLY. I'm scheming to see them at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago this summer.

I love the song "Stereo" for being my earliest memory of getting to know Pavement, for its great guitars, for its fantastic bass line, and of course, for these infamous lyrics:

What about the voice of Geddy Lee
How did it get so high
I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy
(I know him, and he does!)

It never gets old.
