all the news that's fit to print...on a t-shirt
Today I was cruising CNN for some useless sensationalist fun (which I am apt to do after hours of pouring my brain into writing serious, numbingly long reference pieces at work) when my eyes zeroed in on a headline that said "Synchronized swimmers faint in unison," with a little t-shirt icon next to it. Apparently, this is part of CNN's latest money-making scheme...when you click on the icon, it brings you to a page that invites you to buy the shirt with that headline on it.

I wonder if this will cause CNN to write headlines that are even more tabloidy than they already are in order to sell more shirts.
