Today I was cruising CNN for some useless sensationalist fun (which I am apt to do after hours of pouring my brain into writing serious, numbingly long reference pieces at work) when my eyes zeroed in on a headline that said "
Synchronized swimmers faint in unison," with a little t-shirt icon next to it. Apparently, this is part of CNN's latest
money-making scheme...when you click on the icon, it brings you to a page that invites you to buy the
shirt with that headline on it.
I'm not sure if CNN did this on purpose (are they just really PR savvy or really stupid), but several bloggers have discovered that you can easily hack the CNN store's URL to create your own shirts. Here's my favorite, courtesy of
