Man. If I worked at the FCC, I'd take them up on that offer ASAP.
Anyway, the FCC finally got back to them a couple years later, forced to explain why references to "corn-holing" and "making corn-holes," in context of "discussions of a corn baller, an implement for making popcorn balls," are not patently offensive. Bwahaha. DENIED.
I'd be giggling the entire time if I were the lawyer who had to write that.
Better yet, I also found a review of the show in PTC's family TV guide, which gives it two red lights out of three for sex:
Sexual content on the show contains a disturbing plotline, featuring teenager George Michael (Michael’s son), who is sexually attracted to his cousin Maeby (Lyndsey’s daughter). Episodes often have him caught in uncomfortable situations where his true feelings for Maeby are almost revealed.and language:
In one episode, Buster expresses his dislike for his mother by going on an expletive laden tirade, all of which had to be censored by the network.Actually, I've read that Tony Hale is a devout Christian (true story) who—according to Jason Bateman—doesn’t have much when it comes to dirty vocabulary, so he just recited the alphabet in that scene.
I haven't been this entertained since actually watching the show itself.
